Estes' $56M Bet on Border Trade: Long Term Strategy or Calculated Risk?

Estes Express Lines has invested nearly $56 million in expanding its cross border and offshore freight network, purchasing and retrofitting a larger facility in Laredo that will roughly double the company's door count from about 40 to approximately 85 or 86 doors.

This move underscores Estes' commitment to Mexico as a key growth market, where it already operates 52 service centers.
